Tub-shaped font which, if it belongs to the time of the consecration of the parish church, could be dated to ca. 1077. Its ornamentation is of the early Norman type with several motifs inside circles arranged along three registers around the basin sides. Vivier-Seguin (1941) report one side as unfinished, barely showing the carving preliminary outline [NB: some fonts which were meant to be located against a wall usually have a rough side; however, they do not usually have outlines or other half-completed work]. Fragments found around the northern wall of the church have similar motifs and would help place the font with the original building of the church in the last quarter of the 11th century.
