A font reminiscent of the one at Roche, Cornwall, and others of the Bodmin type: the basin is cauldron-like and is sustained by outer colonnettes (four in the Roche font, but six or eight in this case); the upper part of the basin sides is surrounded by a wide band of foliage ornamentation. Unlike the Roche basin, the Agnetz one is also sustained by a broad cylindrical column. The lower base or plinth appears to be octagonal in the source (description based on ill. in Pudelko, 1932, who dates it to the early 14th century). The entry by Denys Le Sayec in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966- ) dates it to the 13th century.
