The octagonal font is beaker-shaped. Dated by Vivier-Seguin and Malle to the 16th century, it has a motif on each basin side. Vivier-Seguin describe them as: sides 1 and 5 have a trilobe in a circle, side 7 has a fleur-de-lis in a single Ogee arch, side 3 has a 6-petalled rosette inside a square, whereas sides 2, 4, 6 and 8 have a tetralobe motif inside a circle Below these, there is a torus which runs around the sides; below the torus, the base tapers in and appears plain (description based on ill. and caption in Malle, 1994 and info in Vivier, 1941)
