Listed by Enlart as a late font mounted on a 5-support base (Enlart, 1902). Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM62001633] [https://www.pop.culture.gouv.fr/notice/palissy/PM62001633] [accessed 20 August 2022]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] Grès [...] 4e quart 16e siècle [...] oeuvre mutilée". A communication from Pol Herman (e-mail of 6 December 2022) states that the 16th-century dating must obviously be for the basin alone, as the base "he base looks Romanesque, badly damaged, for 4 colonnettes." Only the central shaft and the square lower base, both badly damaged and eroded, remain from what appears to have been a baptismal font of the table-top design, a square basin supported on a broad central shaft [extant], four outer colonnettes [lost] and a square lower base with mouldings [extant]; the font appears now [2022] with a new basin and a square domed wooden font cover.
