The font consists of two blocks: a large basin with a roughly hemispherical and four columnar bulges protruding on the sides; the decoration with floral and foliage motifs, mouldings, etc., covers the basin proper as well as the bulges, but there are a few shapes that appear to be birds, and there is an inscription of Gothic characters in the Picard language [cf. supra]; the base, damaged with large cracks, is a round pedestal decorated with floral and foliage motifs.
