The font listed by Enlart (1902) under the name Fleury-la-Tour is a 15th century pedestal font. Corblet (1881-1882) simply gives the date, also the 15th century, for a font at Fleury. Noted and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de Nièvre, 1999, v. 1, p. 374). Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM58000781] [https://www.pop.culture.gouv.fr/notice/palissy/PM58000781] [accessed 8 August 2022]: "Fonts baptismaux (socle de cuve baptismale) [...] 1ère moitié 16e siècle [...] Armoiries". Illustrated in Mémoire [ref.: AP12R011070] [https://www.pop.culture.gouv.fr/notice/memoire/AP12R011070] [accessed 8 August 2022]. The baptismal font located in Fleury-sur-Loire is dated 16th century and appears hexagonal with a basin made decorated with several mouldings; the broad base has a coat of arms charged with three fleur-de-lis and a crown with five points of the same motif on one side, and late-Gothic motifs on the others. Wooden pyramidal cover matching the shape of the font.
