Enlart (1902) mentions a font here in a group "en forme de navette". It consists of an oval basin with pointed rather than rounded ends, decorated with a roll moulding at the rim; oval pedestal base with graded mouldings at the top of the stem, a panel or large quadrangular cartouche on the stem, and a roll moulding on the lower base; it appears to have been painted, the paint now peeling off. Wooden cover shaped fitted to the upper form of the basin, hinged in the middle, which suggests the interior of the basin may have double basins [cf. Index entry for Brie-Comte-Robert No.2 for a holy-water stoup of the late 16th century in this church].
