Listed by Enlart (1902) in a group of octagonal fonts of Gothic style. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM80000338] with date in the 16th century [some local sources date it 13thC] Illustrated in Mémoire [ref.: APDSF3428]. Baptismal font of stone consisting of an octagobal basin de corated with a trommpe l'oeil motif of tree branches wrapped in banner; another band below with foliage and fruit motifs; on an octagonal pedestal base decorated with mouldings at the bottom. Wooden font cover is octagonal, flat and plain, with turned handle-finial; locking bar secures to two staples in the upper rim of the basin.
