Listed in Enlart (1902) in a group of octagonal fonts in the Gothic style and later in the same source as Renaissance, 16th century; Enlart also mentions a depiction of St. Martin on it (Enlart, 1902). Lasteyrie (1926-1927) describes it as hexagonal, although with the same characteristics as many of the octagonal fonts of the period and dates it to the 15th century; the panels of the basin sides are ornamented with crowded scenes ["petites scènes aux nombreux personnages"], one of which he identifies as depicting St. George. The underbowl has foliage ornamentation and the base is also hexagonal.
