Listed by Enlart (1902) as a 14th-century font "en forme de coupe octogone" with Christ and the Apostles depicted on it. Lasteyrie (1926-1927), who gives the font at Beauchamp as similar to this one, describes the basin as having an arcade with figures under the arches and foliage motif as ornamentation. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM80000296]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] Illustrated in Mémoire [re.: AP80W00150].
