Church Notes: church listed in Mérimée [ref.: PA00099444]: "Construction d'origine du 13e siècle (choeur avec abside et clocher) , poursuivie du 14e au 16e siècle (nouvelle façade au début du 16e siècle). L'église conserve une chambre de charité du 16e siècle avec son décor peint et une sacristie du 17e siècle (1669). Les interventions du 19e siècle n'ont pas détruit l'harmonie de l'ensemble (façade reprise après démolition du porche en 1850)."

Listed by Enlart (1902) in a group of 12th-13th century fonts "en forme de coupe octogone". Huard (1928) describes it as pedestal with an octagonal basin and dates it to the 14th century. Lasteyrie (1926-1927) describes it as similar to the font in the cathedral of Langres. Listed as 13th-century in http://members.aol.com/canteure/brionne.html
