Listed by Enlart (1902) in a group of difficult to date fonts. The listing for this font in Palissy [ref.: PM80002814] notes: "Fonts baptismaux [...] en forme de mortier [...] Grès : taillé [...] Fonts probablement datés du 17e siècle [...] H=93". Illustrated in Mémoire [image ref.: DSF 3212 P]. Noted and illustrated in Richesses en Somme [www.richesses-en-somme.com/patrimoine-des-églises/fonts-baptismaux/fonts-bapt-du-10e-au-13e-siècle/] [accessed 1 May 2016]: "Les fonts baptismaux en grès ont la forme d'une coupe circulaire très trapue sur un pied cylindrique épaté et très court, dépourvus de toute ornementation. Il parait très difficile de les dater." [NB: this source names the church as "St Etienne"]. Crudely rendered plain tub-shaped basin raised on squat circular base; the bottom of the base appears to be made up of small stones or bricks. Wooden cover round, flat and plain; appears modern; two metal staples at opposite ends on the upper rim.
