Listed in Paslissy [ref.: PM05001032]: " bénitier [...] marbre veiné (noir, monolithe) [...] Réutilisation de la partie supérieure d'une colonne avec son chapiteau creusé pour servir de bénitier. Plan circulaire à la base, carré au sommet. Un motif sur chaque face de la corbeille : tête, deux fleurs, motif à trois branches pattées ; feuille aux angles [...] 15e siècle". On-site notes: a square mounted holy-water stoup in black marble looking very much like a re-cycled capital; the upper vertical sides are totally plain but the chamfer or underbowl has a floral motif at each angle framed in a round arch, plus a different motif on each of the four sides: 1)Tau cross; 2)human head which appears to wear a turban; 3)trefoil motif; 4)plant; the neck between the volume of the capital and the stem of the base has two roll mouldings.
