There is a water-colour of this font done by Oswald Macqueron on 3 April 1872 [www1.arkhenum.fr/bm_abbeville_macqueron/_app/visualisation.php?id=8101] [accessed 21 April 2016]. Listed by Enlart (1902) among a group of 12th century (?) rectangular fonts with supporting colonnettes at the angles. Noted by Janvier in Brutalis (1893-1899) as similar to the fonts at Senarpont and Guibermesnil. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM80000787] with date in the 12th century. The font appears to be of the same type as those in Hardecourt-en-Bois, etc., rather crude, with a quadrangular basin 'hanging' from the angles on four colonnettes, on a square lower base. There is obvious damage to the upper rim, of the type related to the metal staples of an old cover. [NB: we have not been able to confirm whether the font is still in the church at this time [21 April 2016]].
