Noted in Enlart (1902) as one of a number of rectangular fonts (12th cent.?) with supporting colonnettes at the angles. The entry for the font at Gouy-les-Groseillers in Palissy [ref.: PM60000879] notes: "Cette oeuvre du 13e siècle doit être rapprochée des fonts baptismaux de Francastel et attribuée à un atelier de Villers-Carbonnel". Described as a noteworthy font contemporary with the church itself in Eglises de l'Oise [https://www.eglisesdeloise.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/FRANCASTEL-Texte.pdf] [accessed 27 July 2023]
