Church Notes: listed in Mérimée [ref.: IA00024072]: "1ère mention d'une église en 1288 ; reconstruction de la nef en 1764 puis du choeur, de la tour latérale et de la sacristie ; en 1836 la nef est prolongée vers l'ouest ; en 1862 destruction de l'ancienne tour et en 1863 construction du clocher porche actuel, il abrite une statue en grès de saint Martin ; dans l'enclos un ancien ossuaire servant de chapelle funéraire, datant peut-être du 18e siècle".

Listed in Enlart (1902) among a group of 12th century footless tub-shaped fonts ornamented with a blind arcade. Listed in Palissy [ref.: IM67001674]: "Fonts baptismaux grès (rose) réalisés vers 1140 [...] plan (circulaire) [...] Bord supérieur de la cuve abîmé [...] ornementation (feuille d'acanthe) [...] Pieds séparés l'un de l'autre par des arcades romanes [...] Atelier d'Eschau [...] 2e quart 12e siècle". There are two fonts listed in this church: one is a composite font listed in Palissy [ref.: IM67001679]: "Fonts composites formés d'éléments du 16e siècle ou du 17e siècle [Cuve octogonal sur pied octogonal]: la base et le pied proviennent du jardin du presbytère alors que la cuve provient de la cour de l'école [...] marques de tâcheron sur deux des faces du pied ; sur la première face : V WS SKH, MP, HW, DN, DM ; sur la deuxième face : 16, marque de tâcheron ou nombre 71 ?, trigramme avec deux marques de tâcheron"; the second font is modern, 19th-century [Palissy [ref.: IM67001680]]: "Fût cylindrique à glyphes, cuve à godrons, cinq reliefs sur la partie supérieure dont trois avec tête d'ange et deux à rosace [...] 19e siècle (?)".
