Noted in the 3rd ed. of Hutchins (1973 c1861-1874): "The entrance to the church is at the west end, where there is a low flat-roofed porch of more recent date than the building, against which it rests, partially covering a stoup or holy water basin in the wall on the right-hand side of the doorway."
