Font Notes:
Mentioned by Enlart (1902) as one of the few surviving wooden fonts and dated to 1659. Bond (1908: 77) quotes Enlart. The present font in this church is modern and made of sandstone, probably introduced at the time of the re-building of the church in the late-19th century. [NB: we have no post-1902 information on the wooden font of the earlier church here].
