Like the other French fonts at Lombez, Puycasquier, etc., -Enlart (1902) writes- the font at Lasserre is made of lead and ornamented with similar motifs (a blind arcade?). He dates it to the 13th century. Equié (1880: 3n) reports having seen this font "très folie et très bien conservée" in mid-1850.
