Cloquet (1895) describes its shape: a square basin supported on a single cylidrical column with a large scotia, and dates it to the 13th century but does not mention any other ornamentation. [NB: Alf Jourdain's Dictionnaire encyclopédique de géographique historique du royaume de Belgique [...] (Bruxelles: Brutlant-Christophe & Cie,, 1896, vol. 1, p. 367) informs that the church was re-built in 1891].
