Cloquet (1895) describes the font at Hensies as having four sides, two of which with arcades similar to those found in the fonts at Cousolre and Ribemont; on another side two dragons whose necks intertwine like the ones at Lichterwelde and Gondecourt; human heads are placed at the angles; single pedestal base. In Ghislain (1986). Listed and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10020985] [accessed 2 March 2025]: "fonts baptismaux [...] Object: animal fantastique[ornement]. Object: tête humaine[ornement] [...] Date: 1101 - 1200 [...] hauteur: 94 cm".
