Church Notes: the original church here was apparently founded by the Augustinian canons of the priory of Sainte-Croix de Guingamp; it was damaged by the English in the mid-14th century, and re-built soon thereafter; restored at least twice in the 19th century
There is a stone vessel, perhpas a holy-water stoup, now built against a corner of the porch of the church; it consists of a crudely rendered polygonal basin with several roughly carved heads, human and animal; the basin is raised on blocks forming a shapeless stem, and a squarish lower base; on the basin sides, the head at the front is definitely feline; the one at the extreme left appears human, as is the one on the extreme right; one other one looks like a fox' head.
