Included by Enlart (1902) in a list of French double-fonts; later in the same source Enlart gives it as a font mounted on an eight-column support (one central shaft and six outer colonnettes under the main basin, and a single shaft under the secondary basin). This font is described and illustrated in Lasteyrie (1926-1927); the main basin is indeed a multi-lobed basin, six lobes, each resting on a detached column; another volume, a seventh, is the auxiliary hexagonal basinette that makes this a double-font. The sides of the main basin are vertical; the underbowl is more like a graded chamfer with two of the levels ornamented with high-relief foliage; the columns of the base are cylindrical as are the upper mouldings of the lower bases, while the bottom volume is octagonal. The second basin is hexagonal but the base matches the others in design. The wooden font cover has the same hexafoil shape of the main basin, and is hinged for access; the secondary basin does not have a cover. Drainage exists only in the secondary basin, as is the case in most French double-fonts of this period. There are two noteworthy holy-water stoups inside the church, by the west entranceway; they are both octagonal, but of different appearance; the one on the south side is of irregular form and badly damaged; the one to the north of the west entranceway is more regular in shape; both probably pre-1700. [cf. Index entry for Treguier No. 2 for a figured stoup of later date on the outside of the church].
