Corblet (1881-1882) simply lists it as an ancient font. Included by Enlart (1902) in a list of double-fonts [NB: is Enlart referring to another font in this church?]. Baptismal font of limestone (?) consisting of a basin that is poly-lobed inside and out (7 lobes?), and has a roll moulding at the underbowl; the short base is roughly cylindrical with flat diagonal ribbing pattern on it. There is no cover present now, but damage at opposite ends of the upper rim suggests there was anchoring for an earlier font cover there. Its design appears to be related to a large holy-water stoup of roughly the same period in this church [cf. Index entry for Saint-Junien No. 2]
