Inventoried in the Palissy database [ref.: PM08000257] [www.culture.gouv.fr/public/mistral/palissy_fr] [accessed 15 January 2012] as a baptismal font in black stone, with date in the 11th century. The font consists of a round tapering basin decorated with four human heads at 90-degree angles, with incised animals between them; raised on a round pedestal base. Listed in Collin (1981) as one of the notable fonts of the Ardennes group of Tournai-like fonts.
