Similar to the Comana No.1 and Guimiliau No. 1 fonts [cf. corresponding entries in the Index], all three with a small protrusion serving as a second basin. The second basin of the Sizun font is fully constructional and rests on a brace-like base which directs the weight of the basin to the column of the base. The date "1679" is carved on the side of the small basin. The main basin is octagonal, tapering in steps towards the base. The base has a blind arcade but there is a shell at the top in each of the arches. The font is done in a course gold-brown granite. The large wooden baldaquin has a railing on which rest the eight columns which support the multi-level roof.
