On-site notes: double-font of the type common in this area: two octagonal basins with ornamented sides (fleur-de-lis and oak leaves); the pedestal bases, as is often the case in these fonts, are differently shaped, one round, the other octagonal. The whole rests on a rectangular lower base. Le patrimoine des communes d'Ille-et-Vilaine (2000) identifies it as the work of a local workshop.
