On-site notes: granite double-font with octagonal basins united at one of the sides; the base is rectangular with trimmed corners; the sides of the basins are ornamented with a blind arcade, two trefoil arches per side. The beautifully ornamented wooden lids are covered in light blue-green arabesque-like acanthus motif and have golden acanthus-pear finials. The magnificent Baroque baldaquin (18th century) which houses the font is a wooden railing enclosure simulating metal with golden tips, and there is a brightly painted baptism of Christ sculptural group which serves as a backdrop to the font. The font is listed in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966- ) as 15th century.
