Described in Roe (1968: 109-110): "a fragment of a font which represents rather half than the original vessel", located to the southeast of the church ruins, "half-buried in grass and weeds"; the only decoration on it is a U-shape moulding. Roe (ibid) estimates that it was "of uncommon form, four-sided at the top but merging into an almost cylindrical shape below" resembling, she adds, "a capital of the sort known as 'cushion capital'". Roe (ibid.) suggests a date in the late 13th century.
