Described and illustrated in Cabrol (1907). Described in Bond (1908: 18, 23) as a baptistery of the 8th century. Bond's illustration (ibid., p. 22) is after Cabrol (1907). Illustrated in Lallov (1934), which shows it reconstructed: a large hexagonal raised pool; the ciborium is made up of six very thick round columns which rest outside the plinth of the font; the top is a roof-like wooden frame covered in roof tiles. Described in Bowerstock (1999): early-Christian polygonal baptistery of the late 5th century was rebuilt in the early 11th century. Described in Cuscito (2003: 33ff)
