Mentioned in Pike (1989: 32) as one of three baptismal fonts in the Cathedral of St. Colman, the one in use: "A third font, in use, of a later period, is not Medieval." The entry for this church in the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage [https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/buildings-search/building/20826015/saint-colmans-cathedral-church-street-townparks-cloyne-cork] [accessed 26 April 2023] reports an early carved limestone font in it.
