Described and illustrated in Pike (1989: 28-29): together with the two parts of fonts listed in this Index under Clonmel No. 1, Pike reports two other objects: 1)a wall-mounted roughly cylindrical holy-water stoup without a drain; its sides are heavily carved in high relief with ram heads on the corners and leaf decoration between them. 2)a pedestal, quite possibly un-related to this stoup, has "linear design in low relief of the Madonna and Child". [We are grateful to Trinity College, Dublin, for the copy of Ms. Pike's work, and to Ms. Joan Pike for her kind permission to reproduce her original drawings]. [cf. Index entry for Clonmel No. 3 for a plain stoup, perhaps medieval]
