Noted and illustrated in Brilho do norte (1997). Octagonal font of the "Manuelino" period with overly ornate style; the sides of the basin contain one scene of the Baptism of Christ and another of Moses crossing the waters; the spreading ornamentation contains much vegetal motif, as well as the grotesque, alternating with two angels "que emergem de insólitas cornucópias"[=which emerge from unusual cornucopia] and episcopal insignia; the angels themselves are weird figures looking somewhat like woodwoses; the base is covered with deformed dog-like creatures involved in thick foliage; at the lower base, four couchant lions.
