Noted in Martin Gonzalez (1977) as a baptismal font decorated with ribbed pattern. Noted and illustrated in Románico Norte, Fundación Santa María la Real The basin is bucket shaped and has a flat moulding at the upper rim, with a pattern of concave diagonal ribs all around; raised on a round-to-square squat base with spurs at 90-degree angles. The font is housed in an alcove on the north side, at the west end of the nave.
