Ruprich-Robert (1884-1889) shows a drawing of a chalice-shaped font; the basin shows a horizontal band of large chained circles at the upper rim from which four vertical motifs -braids, etc.- lead down towards the base. The base itself has a wide band of tangled circles which contain clasp-like motifs inside forming a chain; below it, a narrower plain pedestal, a wider plain ring and a truncated-cone plinth (description based on ill. in Ruprich-Robert, 1884-1889)
