Described in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?-); described and illustrated in Domeño (1992): late medieval baptismal font; the hemispherical basin is ornamented with ribbed pattern inside and out; towards the top and bottom of the outer surface, between the ribs, small ball motif; the pedestal base appears as a cluster of columns, each ona corresponding to the rib of the underbowl; the same distribution of ball motifs here as on the basin sides; the lower base is circular, but the upper part has prominences matching the "columns" of the stem. A photograph [ca. 1943] shows the basin covered with a plain wooden lid, whereas a later photograph [ca. 1992] shows no cover but two iron staples of the old cover are still evident in the upper rim. Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Navarra (2008) as a rather original font design for this area and informs that the font was originally located in the northwest angle of the nave, beneath the gallery, but that it was moved to the north side, by the entrance, probably just before the year 1992 (as the floor drainage is still visible in the old location); this same source notes a few Navarrese fonts with similar -though not identical- decoration in Cabanillas, Ardanaz de Egues, Lorca, Eransus and Zunzarren. The Enciclopedia del románico en Navarra (2008) does not suggest a date for this font.
