Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- , vol. XIX: 75, 244-245): baptismal font probably of the 11th or 12th century; bucket-shaped basin mounted on a modern pedestal base; the upper basin side is ornamented with a band of motif resembling crenellation or very short vertical mouldings; right below it a rope moulding; the sides proper have a number of motifs described thus in this source [L-->R]: 1)human head with no particular distinguishing features; 2)six-petal floral motif in a circle; 3)two palm leaves; 4)two-arch arcade; 5)plant motif; 6)arches?; 7)column; 8)reticular pattern; 9)column; 10)four-petal floral motif in a circle; 11)column; 12)dove or peacock?; 13)six-petal floral motif with webbed tips, in a circle. The basin has some damage at the upper rim and sides; a plain flat wooden cover, modern, appears on it.
