Described and illustrated in Gudiol Ricart (1947: 100) as a baptismal font in the Plateresque style, made of bronze. Large covered font; the semi-spherical basin has rib-like ornamentation, the 'ribs' are really arches filled with intricate floral and foliage patterns; the pedestal base is shaped like that of a chalice, octagonal, with a pronounced moulding at the centre-ring position, and splaying at the bottom. The lid is almost the same height as the rest of the font and carries the same patterns of ornamentation, the finial shaped like an pine cone.
