Noted in Azcárate Ristori (1983) with suggested date in the 14th century. Described in Ruiz Montejo (1992): interesting Romanesque baptismal font; hemispherical basin ornamented with a blind arcade of round arches drawn in beaded tape; under the rim a band of half leaves with a central stem with the same beaded tape motif as the arches; short round base and Attic-style lower base. Described and illustrated in Garma Ramírez (2000). Described in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009), which quotes Azcárate Ristori [cf. supra] for a late date, although based on models of the 13th century; it describes the decoration as ribs [="gallones"].
