Noted in Ruiz Montejo (1992) as a Romanesque baptismal font; the basin sides are ornamented with a blind arcade, the round arches resting on double columns with clearly delineated capitals and bases. Similarly described in Nieto Taberné (2000) who dates it to 12th century. Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla-La Mancha: Guadalajara (2009), which remarks on its similarity with the font at Pozancos. The upper rim of the basin retains one of the old metal staples of the cover, but the one on the opposite side is missing. [cf.
