Described in Catalunya romànica (1984- , vol. XIII: 391) as a font reused for the oil offerings. On-site notes: the object is a rectangular monolith of the type believed by some to have served for immersion baptism in the 10th or 11th centuries in the area around Comminges; this one, now cemented to the wall, has a shield-like protrusion in the middle of the front side with a Latin cross on it. This font is mentioned in Mestre i Godes (1999: 89) (85 x 52 x 32 cm) have not been used]. This font is mentioned in Sarrate Forga (1975: unpaged) as one of two ancient immersion fonts later recycled into lamp-oil tanks, and is described in this source as plain ["sin decorar"]
