Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- ), as 'perhaps a font' ["potser una pica"] made of granite and shaped like a bath-tub, rectangular at the top and narrowing in like a normal bath tub; the inside well is also rectangular, with rounded corners; the front side has a number of ball motifs (nine? - one broken off), a Latin cross and a human figure with open arms, one of which appears to touch a side of the cross [NB: the figure is actually touching or holding the cross with his right hand]. As with the other tub-fonts of the area, the above source is reluctant to assign a date earlier than the 12th-13th century. Mestre i Godes and Adell (1999) describe it as 'a true bath tub' [="una veritable banyera"]. [cf. Index entries for Cap d'Aran, etc. for this type of "oil-font"]. Noted in Amiell (2007).
