Font Notes:
Noted in Mestre i Godes (1999) as a font ornamented with animal and vegetal motifs. Described in Cabestany, Matas & Palau (2005) with date in the late 12th or early 13th century, with some similarities in style and choice of decorative topics with the oil font at the Església de Sant Llorenç in Isavarre. Round basin raised on a pedestal base made up of three parts; the basin has a thick roll moulding below the upper rim, with a number of quadrupeds and avian heads (?) on the sides and underbowl, all very worn and of difficult identification; CM&P (ibid.) suggest one may be a rabbit; raised on a pedestal base made up of a round column with square capital and base. All very crude and irregular, probably the work of a local mason.
