Described and illustrated in Omilanowska (2001) as a baptismal font made of bronze in 1450 and consisting of a bucket-shaped basin resting on three kneeling angels (the angels themselves are kneeling on rectangular reclinatories decorated with tracery motif; ther sides of the basin are divided into two registers by a centre band that bears an inscription [not available]; the two registers contain "22 scenes of the Passion [and] were sculpted by an unknown artist" (ibid.) Noted and illustrated in 'Gotische Bronzefünten in Nordostdeutschland' [http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gotische_Bronzef%C3%BCnten_in_Nordostdeutschland] [accessed 2 April 2010]: "Der umlaufenden Inschrift der Fünte mit entsprechendem Wappen und den Initialen HK zu Folge wurde diese Taufe 1450 von dem Priester Hinrich Koppelmann gestiftet. Drei kniende Engel tragen den runden Kessel, der von zwei umlaufenden, von der Inschrift jedoch getrennten, Reihen mit je elf separat gegossenen, aufgenieteten Reliefs geschmückt wird. Unter niedrigen Maßwerkbögen sind jeweils für sich stehende Szenen der Passion Christi, sowie der Stifter der Fünte bildlich dargestellt. Die Gusstechnik und die Art der plastischen Darstellung machen diese Bronzefünte mit denen der Marienkirche in Rostock und der Nikolaikirche in Wismar zu einer der bedeutenden in Nordostdeutschland."
