Wulf (1996) mentions a number of piscinae on the eastern wall of the choir, of which two are decorated with "colonnes fasciculees et des piliers, avec elegants reliefs a rinceaux et palmettes en eventail, ainsi que des bandes a spirales en pointes de diamant, d'une qualite extraordinaire"; he dates them to the second half of the 12th century and traces them to the Konigslutter workshop. [NB: it is not known whether they are stoups or piscinae for ablutions].
