Baptismal font "sans support ... selon le modele antique" (Chastel, 1966, p. 287). Enlart (1902) includes it in a group of Renaissance fonts, unmounted and octagonal. Corblet (1881-1882) describes it as a hexagonal basin ornamented with rich foliage and the coat of arms of Antoine Florès, bishop of Avignon (1503-1512), which would date it to the early 16th century; tha coat of arms emblem confirmed in the Dictionnaire des églises... (1966-). On-site notes: the baptismal font at the cathedral of Avignon
