Noted and illustrated in Knott (2007?), "a grand transitional font". The square basin is mounted on one broad central pillar, with four non-constructional colonnettes at the corners, all of it raised on a square lower base/plinth; the corner shafts have moulded capitals and bases, whereas the centre one is just a plain cylindrical shape. The wooden cover has raised ribs around a central pivot; 19th-century? [there is an inscription on the ring around the ribs]
