Illustrated in Collins (1981). Described and illustrated in Drake (2002) as a baptismal font of the Mosan group mounted on a multisupport base; the round basin is decorated with four protruding human heads at 90-degree angles [Drake (ibid., p. 41ff) describes these as 'cylindrical heads']; between the heads the sides of the basin are decorated with a variety of motifs: on one side two possible dragons [ouroboros?] have their bodies entangled; on another three lion (?) heads appear at the linking points of four large circles filled with striated pattern; Drake (ibid.) mentions tendril, foliage and flowers or grapes as well. The base, which is made of a different stone, consists of a broad central shaft with four angle colonnettes, all plain but for a moulding towards the bottom forming crude bases. The wooden font cover is flat, round and plain; modern.
