Church Notes: St-Paul-Trois-Chateaux was a bishopry until the French Revolution, hence the large cathedral. Some beautiful mosaics by the altar and colourful frescoes in the transept and other areas of the interior.
Font Notes:
Included in Narcisse (1979: 19). On-site notes: composite holy-water stoup located just inside the south entrance; sandstone bucket-shaped basin with long ribbed pattern from top to bottom; it is raised on a plain cylindrical stem of grey marble and a wider round lower base which appears to be also sandstone.
