Our source (Vandeput, 1982) shows a "benitier" with a smooth cauldron-like basin, plain except for a discreet rim and an equally unassuming torus around the basin middle, and at least two handles, from one of which hangs the small holy water bucket for the aspergillum. The pedestal base has several sections, all of them hexagonal in shape. The same source gives the date as "1468" ( Vandeput, 1982, p. 51)
